Suspects Caught In Ambush Boarding Company Heist

ambush boarding companyLocal police have identified three young men in conjunction with a robbery at Kennesaw, Georgia’s Ambush Boarding Company, and arrested two of them following a tip from one of their moms.

On May 2, the three broke into Ambush, which also owns of Buyskateshoes, Buywake, and, and made their way out with approximately $100,000 in product. Security cameras captured video of the perps leisurely grabbing skateboards, video cameras, clothing, and sunglasses after one of them dropped in through an air conditioning unit and opened the back door.

According to the Atlanta Journal Constitution, police arrested “Dustan Brady, 20, of Marietta, Georgia and a 15-year-old, whose name has not been released because of his age,  with burglary and theft by taking. Brady is being held at the Cobb County Adult Detention Center on $90,000 bond, according to jail records.”

Warrants have been issued for a 19-year-old, Cordero Brown, also from Marietta.

According to the report:

The investigation took a turn when the mother of one of the two in custody became suspicious of items she found in her son’s bedroom and forced him to talk to police.

“The mother knew what her son was involved with as far as skating,” police Sgt. Dana Pierce told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution Wednesday afternoon. “But when you have the sheer quantity and volumn [of skateboarding items] she wondered where he got it. “

Pierce said police have recovered about a third of what was taken.

Pierce said Brady and the teenager “have made statements to us. They are cooperating with police.”
