According to a report in Street & Smith’s Sports Business Journal, entertainment supergiant Viacom Inc. may have plans to add Fuel TV to its list of acquisitions.
The report stated that Fox Cable Networks and Viacom Inc. began the Fuel TV discussion last year with a joint venture proposal. Later, the two companies began negotiating a price for Fuel TV’s complete sale.
The deal was expected to close at the end of last year, but Viacom and Fox are still in the negotiation process.
