Burton Signs Torah Bright

Burlington, VT – 4/19/02 – Australian Torah Bright signed a hardgoods sponsorship with Burton Snowboards this week, joining the ranks of the world’s top riders. Together with Kjersti Buaas and Kelly Clark, Torah is one of the most progressive up-and-coming women riders out there. She charges the park and the pipe. When most women riders do 10 hits in the pipe, Torah does 7, going big throughout her runs.

Torah’s an aggressive rider and not afraid to go big. At the young age of 15, she is the future of women’s snowboarding.Burton’s Global Team Director RenÈ Hansen gave Torah big props. “Torah Bright is one of biggest talents I have seen. In the future, she’ll turn heads in many ways. Basically, she rides and charges like one of the boys,” said Hansen.
