Snowboard Film Premiere, Vendor Fair Hits Sacramento Sept. 29

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – On September 29th, at the Memorial Auditorium (located on the corner of 16th and “J” Street), Sierra-at-Tahoe will be presenting the tenth annual “Get Your Fix” Snowboard Film Premiere & Vendor Fair brought to you by Mountain & Surf Pro Shop, and Red i Productions.

This year’s festivities will commence with a Vendor Fair and Music Festival from 2pm to 7pm. For this day only, Sierra-at-Tahoe will be offering midweek passes for only $199, shops and factory reps will be selling snowboard products along with tons of other items at incredible prices, and “teasers” of all the hottest action-sports films coming out this year will be playing while DJ’s, MC’s and bands perform. Snowboarding pros will be on hand at the booth to sign autographs and raffle prizes. This is where the pre-party is taking place, everyone’s invited and admission is FREE.

The party continues at 7pm when the doors open for the “Get Your Fix” Snowboard Film Premier. The first film will be shown at 7:30pm. Everybody who attends will receive a free all-day lift ticket to Sierra-at-Tahoe (a $45 value). DJ Paul will spin hip-hop while snowboarding pros and filmmakers sign autographs and raffle prizes before, between and after the films. Tickets are available through Bass Ticket Outlets and better snowboard shops for $10 in advance and $12 at the door. Check out or for updated information on selected films slated to premiere.

Mountain & Surf established this snowboard film premiere ten years ago and it has grown to be one of the largest in the country (a crowd of over 3.000 people are expected). With the start of the snow season right around the corner, the event is happening in the best spot … the backyard of one of the world’s best snowboarding areas (Tahoe … just in case you had to ask)!
