Wave Rave Changes Staff, Direction

Wave Rave, DBA OJS Incorporated, recently strengthened it’s inherent character of quality manufacturing and built further upon its reputation of integrity with the addition of two key team members, Matt Gotthainer and Kelly Robshaw.

Matt Gotthainer, the new Sales Manager for Wave Rave, comes from the authentic retail establishments of Milosport in Utah and Polar Revolution in Colorado and as a road warrior for Palmer Snowboards, Planet Earth and Adio shoes. Taking it to the next level, Matt took up the reigns as Wave Rave Sales Manager, managing the team of reps and determining Wave Rave distribution worldwide.

Kelly Robshaw joined forces with Matt running the sales department and supplementing the marketing department of Wave Rave as Assistant Sales Manager. Kelly’s roots lie in the New England development of the Blades Board & Skate brand. More recently, Kelly worked with Burton Snowboards, RED, Anon Optics and Gravis Footwear in Southern New England and relocated to the Colorado/New Mexico territory. Her understanding of both the retail and vendor perspective provides Wave Rave a strong foundation to further build the brand.

Wave Rave Changes to Meet the New Realities of Snowboard Marketplace

The Wave Rave brand after evaluation of the marketplace in relation to the economy and the state of the industry adjusted the company direction for the 2002/2003 season. The Magnus line of pricepoint apparel was dissolved and absorbed into the Wave Rave line. For 2003, the Wave Rave line is stronger than ever exhibiting their long proven history of quality craftsmanship and valued apparel features. Augmenting the value offered in the Wave Rave product itself, is an aggressive pricing structure; one which caters to the bulk of the marketplace. A marketplace seeking an affordable, trusted piece of apparel while providing the retailer high volume sales at an appreciated margin..
