It may be spring, but savvy skiers and snowboarders know that this is the time for locking in next season’s ski deals, and a $349 membership in this year’s Mountain Collective may be the one you’re looking for.
The pass gives its holders two free days of riding at six North American resorts at any time during the 2013 to 2014 season. It is an unprecedented collaboration between mountains of epic proportion. Alta/Snowbird, Aspen/Snowmass, Jackson Hole, Mammoth Mountain, Squaw Valley/Alpine Meadows, and Whistler/Blackcomb are all participating.
According to the themountaincollective.com, that’s 12 mountains, 186 lifts to ride, and 30,000 acres of terrain to explore. And, because its holders are bound to be traveling, the Mountain Collective membership includes exclusive discounts of up to 25 percent off all resort lodging.
Additional lift tickets at each resort can be purchased for 50 percent off with no blackout dates. With lift tickets pushing closer to $100 dollars a day, this pass will pay for itself after just four days on snow.
