Scottish craft beer company BrewDog gained international notoriety for their hard-hitting India Pale Ales (IPA) that shook up the beer world during the beginnings of the craft beer craze. Now they are aiming to do so again, having launched an Indiegogo campaign for the world’s first craft beer-themed hotel.

BrewDog exceeded their initial campaign target of $75,000 in less than two days, prompting them to set a new stretch goal of $200,000 (which they’re also about to hit).

A Willy Wonka-like dream-come-true for craft beer lovers, the hotel will be located on the same site as their USA brewery in Columbus, Ohio. Claiming a “fully immersive craft beer experience,” a beer-themed spa will offer up beer baths, hop-infused face masks and barley massages.

Bedroom suites will have craft beer-stocked mini bars, taps of their infamous Punk IPA and views of the sour beer foeders. Not to mention that the bedroom suite bathrooms will use craft beer to make all the soaps, shampoos and shower gels.

Current rewards for the crowd-funding campaign (which runs for another 22 days) are $100 off a one-night stay for two people, a beer breakfast voucher and the works which include a free night’s stay, a brewery tour, 10-percent off all rooms and free meals.

Aiming to open at the end of the third quarter in 2018, it may make craft beer lovers flock to Columbus, Ohio for one of the most unique beer experiences we can think of.
