When a jazz band began performing in front of a fish tank, a giant conger eel got into the act by rocking out to the music, swaying side by side in a humorous display at the Aquarium Finisterrae in La Coruna, Spain.
More than 600 Atlantic species, including rays and cuttlefish, swim in the tank located in the aquarium's Maremagnum Room, as reported by the Daily Mail. But only the conger eel seemed to respond to the jazz music, dancing behind guitar player Ruben Barros Deschamps:
Audience members can be heard chuckling over the hilarious scene, captured in video by Oscar Bouzas.
“It was an incredible moment,” Deschamps told the Daily Mail. “I hadn't realized what was happening until the other band members alerted me. When I turned around I was this tremendous eel performing an improvised choreography to our 'Night and Day’ [by Cole Porter].”
Deschamps posted on Facebook that he's “discovered my hidden vocation … eel charmer. And I didn't have a clue. What a brilliant moment.”
